New program in Quincy to offer over 100 internship positions to high school, college students

QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV) – Quincy city leaders met Thursday to discuss the progress of development in the Downtown Square, announcing a new program that hopes to bring students into the equation.

A new partnership will give Gadsden County high school and local college students paid internships in the communities they reside in, according to Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ty Smith.

For students between the ages of 16 and 24, 140 year-long internship positions will be available…
