‘Unbelievable’: Pasco firefighter rescues owl stuck in middle of tree

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (WFLA)— An owl was rescued after being stuck in the middle of a tree in a Wesley Chapel neighborhood.

Pasco County Fire Rescue Engine 13 D-shift responded to a call in the Lexington Oaks neighborhood after an owl was stuck in the base of a tree.

“With gentle hands and a whole lot of heart, our firefighters were able to safely free the owl who quickly flew off unharmed, no worse for wear and hopefully a little wiser,” Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

The video showed the owl at the base of the tree while a Pasco firefighter lifted it until it was free, then it flew away…
