HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers who frequent the Gibsonton and Sunshine Acres areas will need to plan for extra travel time or adjust their routes starting today. A busy stretch of Riverview Drive is shutting down during daytime hours to allow crews to complete utility installations and infrastructure improvements.
The construction work involves several updates, including the replacement of transmission poles along the corridor. To keep workers and drivers safe, Riverview Drive will be completely closed to through traffic from U.S. Highway 41 to Crowell Drive.
