HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A second Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputy has been discharged from Tampa General Hospital following a deputy-involved shooting earlier this week.
Deputy Sopharmony Muon, 33, left the hospital on Saturday afternoon, two days after the shooting occurred in Ruskin. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Muon will continue his recovery at home.
His release follows that of Deputy Colton Daniels, who was discharged from the hospital on Friday afternoon, July 17, 2026. Both deputies were hospitalized after the July 16 incident…
