BRANDON, Fla. — The family of a 3-year-old girl who investigators said was fatally beaten by her mother’s girlfriend is remembering her as a smart, loving child who enjoyed dancing, singing and swimming.
Grace Wingate, 29, is charged with first-degree murder while engaged in aggravated child abuse, aggravated child abuse, and child neglect with great bodily harm in the death of 3-year-old Ka’mora.
