Andy’s Frozen Custard is planning a new restaurant at the northwest corner of South Dale Mabry Highway and West El Prado Boulevard in South Tampa, according to plans filed with the city as part of a rezoning application.
The Springfield, Missouri-based chain has picked 3423 S. Dale Mabry Highway, now home to the 3,926-square-foot BJ’s Alabama Barbeque, for a new 1,611-square-foot restaurant with an outdoor patio. The Andy’s will have no indoor seating, instead serving customers through a walk-up area and one-way drive-thru.
