FREMONT – Cameras are under review by Fremont Police Department detectives to identify the vandals who broke into and damaged the restrooms at Rodger W. Young Park, with repairs estimated in the thousands.
The restrooms were broken into and vandalized after hours on May 24 or in the morning of May 25. The concrete block building is near the tennis courts.
Ken Frost, Fremont’s safety service director, said that quotes aren’t in on the cost of repairs, but he said that this one will be in thousands. The damage starts with the locks that were cut, and then the water lines were broken, as well as toilets and sinks that were damaged…
