Toledo apartment fire displaces residents

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Some residents of Beacon Point Apartments are looking for a place to stay after a fire broke out in one of the units Friday night.

The fire started around 8:30 p.m. at the complex on the 2400 block of Cheyenne Boulevard. Toledo Fire & Rescue officials said the fire started from an air conditioning unit on the first floor and spread to the floor above.

The building was safely evacuated and all residents were accounted for. No one was hurt, crews said…
