TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A group of South Toledo residents is working to find a new use for Harvard Elementary School, which closed as part of Toledo Public Schools’ plan to address a budget deficit.
The school, located on the banks of the Maumee River, served the South Toledo community for decades. Its closure came as part of what TPS has called a transformational plan aimed at addressing a steep budget shortfall.
