LASALLE TWP., MI – Further investigation has shown a man previously thought to have died in a car crash actually died of natural causes, according to police.
Gregory Cronenwett, 71, was pronounced dead at a Toledo hospital shortly after his car crashed July 5 near South Telegraph Road and North Otter Creek Road in LaSalle Township, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said. It was not clear at the time why Cronenwett’s car had left the road.
An autopsy conducted by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office in Ohio showed the 71-year-old died of natural causes, police said. Officials did not specify the exact cause…
