Lucas County Commissioner Pete Gerken said a 150-acre industrial property being annexed into Waterville will not be a data center.
The Farnsworth Business Park, being developed by the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, is not a “megasite” and will be marketed to house multiple small industrial businesses.
“Western Lucas County development is something that’s been fraught with some debate lately. Nobody wants a data center there — we know that,” Mr. Gerken said. “It’s not a data center; this is a small industrial park development.”…
