Deputies arrest 2 in Michigan home invasion, including 1 found in cornfield

Two men are in custody after a home invasion in Raisinville Township, Michigan, early Saturday evening, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said one of the men was arrested after law enforcement found him in a cornfield.

A dispatcher received a call about the home invasion, which happened at a residence on the 600 block of Ida Maybee Road, around 5:17 p.m. A responding deputy arrived at the scene while the incident was in progress, the sheriff’s office said. They were able to take one of the men into custody. Officials said the other left the scene on foot as other law enforcement reached the area.
