ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Accounts Payable Committee approved nearly $4.8 million in county payments during its August 20 meeting.
The vouchers covered expenses across county departments, with less than half a million dollars coming from the general fund.
The payments included an annual lease installment for the emergency communications system used by Lenawee County Central Dispatch. The county is nearing the end of that lease and will own the equipment after the final payment next year…
