A woman whose former boyfriend tried to hire someone to kill her told a Lucas County judge Tuesday morning that she is rebuilding her life after living in fear of him.
“I am slowly taking back the parts of my life that were taken from me,” Reshuana Young wrote in a statement that Paige Krebs, a victim advocate, read to Judge Ken Walz in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
“I am rebuilding my confidence. I am finding my voice again. I am learning that I deserve to live without fear,” her letter continued. “I am learning that I deserve safety, peace, and a future that belongs to me.”…
