Oregon’s first substance abuse treatment center to open with sober living beds, extended hours

OREGON, Ohio (WTVG) – Families dealing with addiction or mental health struggles have a new place to turn for help. Amends Recovery is set to open next week as Oregon’s first treatment center with dozens of sober living beds and extended hours six days a week.

Co-founders Eddie Cutcher and Dan Williams say they met when they were teenagers and have spent decades working in recovery. Between the two of them, they have more than 40 years of sobriety. Over the last several months, they have been turning an old office building on Earlwood into a treatment center.

“We thought this would be the perfect place to help people in this community because typically they’re leaving and going back to Toledo to get help,” Cutcher said…
