The 11th Annual Great Lakes Jazz Festival will bring a full day of free live music to Ottawa Park Amphitheater in Toledo on Sept. 12, featuring five performance acts and a special award presentation. According to a community announcement, the event runs from noon to 8:30 p.m. at the amphitheater, 2205 Kenwood Blvd., across from Toledo Hospital. The festival is organized by the Great Lakes Jazz Society and hosted by The H-Factor Jazz Show.
The free public event will showcase a mix of jazz styles ranging from traditional and contemporary performances to Latin-influenced sounds. Organizers said in the announcement that attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the outdoor celebration.
Festival lineup
Performances begin at noon with Chris Buzzelli & Friends, also known as “The Four of Us.” The group features Lori Lefevre, Lisa Young, Chris Buzzelli and Kevin Eikum.
