TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man accused of strangulation and domestic violence barricaded himself inside his home for several hours early Saturday morning, according to a lieutenant on the scene.
According to police records, TPD officers were called to the 100 block of West Foulkes just after midnight on a report of domestic violence and strangulation. When officers arrived, 39-year-old Crecencio Morales, of Toledo, allegedly locked himself in the house and refused to come out.
Police said Morales later came out on the roof, shouted obscenities and threatened to kill and fight with officers. Police also allege he said he would not be taken alive, causing them to treat the incident as as a barricade situation…
