A lawyer defending an East Toledo man against capital murder charges for the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Kei’mani Latigue, was granted two weeks Friday to conduct an “in-house competency assessment.”
Lawyer David Klucas said he needed the time to review a stack of documents three inches thick that the Lucas County jail delivered earlier Friday morning pertaining to Darnell Jones’ conduct in the jail.
