USACE waives lake day-use fees for America’s 250th birthday celebration

TULSA COUNTY, Okla. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District is waiving day-use fees at its recreation areas July 3-5 in observance of America’s 250th birthday celebration.

The temporary waiver applies to several popular Oklahoma lakes, giving families and outdoor enthusiasts a chance to enjoy the holiday weekend with free access to eligible recreation areas.

Where the fee waiver applies

The waiver includes day-use fees at recreation areas across the Tulsa District, including:

  • Keystone Lake
  • Oologah Lake
  • Kaw Lake
  • Eufaula Lake

Visitors can use boat launch ramps and enjoy swimming at the district’s beaches without paying day-use fees during the three-day period.
