GLENPOOL, OK – A Glenpool nonprofit created in memory of a former foster teen spent Saturday collecting clothes for young people in the foster care system, part of an ongoing mission to help teens find confidence one outfit at a time.
A brother’s love of fashion sparks an idea
Before Kee’s Kloset became a full storefront, it started with Keeonal Dawkins, a foster brother taken in by the Francy family. Dawkins grew up moving between foster placements, but his love of style stayed constant.
“What started us doing this was Keeon and that’s why it’s called Kee’s Kloset. He was a foster brother that we had, who we took in,” said Grayson Francy, Junior Board President of Kee’s Kloset.
