BIXBY, Okla. – Several Bixby-area agencies are teaming up to help students prepare for the new school year with a free Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 8.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Bridge Church, 7731 E. 119th Drive, and is hosted by the Bixby Police Department, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, Bixby Fire Department and the Bixby Outreach Center.
Organizers say families can receive free school supplies, haircuts, sports physicals, dental checks and vaccinations. The event will also include games, food and other family-friendly activities. Admission is free…
