TULSA, OKla. – There’s a new fluffy face on display at the Tulsa Zoo. A healthy female chinchilla kit was born July 8 to parents Harley and Churro.
The kit has been thriving under her mother’s care and is now beginning to explore her habitat in the Life in the Cold building.
Visitors can help name the new arrival
Zoo officials are asking for help choosing a name for the new chinchilla.
People can enter for a chance to help name her by making a donation of $5 or more to the zoo’s Mission ImPopsicle fundraiser. One winner will be selected at random after Labor Day and will receive a list of names curated by zoo staff to choose from…
