13 Oklahomans to be featured in Times Square Down syndrome video presentation

Thirteen Oklahomans with Down syndrome will have their photographs displayed on the giant screens of Times Square in New York City on Sept. 12 as part of the National Down Syndrome Society’s annual Times Square Video Presentation.

Oklahoma participants selected from thousands of entries

The Oklahoma participants were selected from more than 2,600 photographs submitted from around the world. Their images will appear alongside photographs of about 500 people with Down syndrome representing all 50 states and 11 countries.

The annual presentation, supported by Clear Channel Outdoor, will feature the photographs on two Jumbotron screens in the heart of Times Square. The event is designed to celebrate people with Down syndrome and highlight their accomplishments, personalities and contributions.
