OKLAHOMA CITY – Tulsa runner Steven Baker, a graduate of Union High School and Rogers State University, won the men’s division of the OKC Memorial Marathon, crossing the finish line with an emotional reaction after setting a personal record.
“It was an amazing feeling. The last turn. Oh, I couldn’t believe it. I had to speed up though at the end. I can’t talk right now. I’m getting emotional because that’s a big PR for me,” Baker said moments after finishing.
