PORTLAND, Ore. — A motorcyclist led multiple law enforcement agencies on a nearly hourlong pursuit across several counties late Friday before being taken into custody at a gas station in Polk County, authorities said.
The incident began about 9 p.m. when Transit Police made a traffic stop on a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 84, according to authorities. The rider fled, prompting the Portland Police Bureau Air Support Unit to begin tracking the motorcycle from the air.
