PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — What started as a slide into the DMs has become a new North Portland sweet treat spot.
Located in the Overlook neighborhood and near the Arbor Lodge neighborhood, ArborLook Carts now hosts Leo Boulan — a cupcake cart co-founded by Shemiel Leo and Ashley-Bria Leo.
The couple relocated from the East Coast to the Rose City just last year in February, soon welcoming their second child. Ashley-Bria Leo told KOIN 6 she and her husband launched the business in an effort to have more flexibility as a family.
But the Portland cart isn’t their first venture as entrepreneurs. After previously meeting in New York City as teenagers, they crossed paths again as adults when Shemiel Leo invited her over to taste cakes at his Georgia bakery while she was stationed in the state…
