Oregon City man stole ‘large quantities’ of mail throughout tri-county metro area, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon City man has been accused of stealing large amounts of mail throughout the tri-county metro area.

The Lake Oswego Police Department said they teamed up with other law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, to arrest Emmanuel Coa at his Oregon City home on Friday.

During a search of the man’s home leading up to the arrest, investigators “recovered hundreds of stolen bank checks, large quantities of stolen mail, and thousands of dollars in cash linking the suspect to multiple mail theft incidents throughout Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties over the past several months,” Lake Oswego police said.
