If there’s one thing that John Block wants to make clear in opening The Racquet Lab in Beaverton, it’s that the group of tennis aficionados who populate Portland and nearby suburbs are truly a community — a tightknit group that has provided him not only with lifelong friends but also “a love for tennis and a career that now provides for my family.”
With that in mind, Block recently opened his new business in the lower level of the Modera Beaverton building, a luxury mixed-use apartment complex located at 12230 S.W. Broadway St.
