PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — In the latest segment of Minute with the CNO on WAVY-TV 10, Adm. Daryl Caudle provides an update on improving sailors’ living conditions.
According to Adm. Caudle, more than 6,000 sailors have been moved off of ships and into housing ashore. More will follow in the coming months, with many of the barracks now at nearly full capacity.
Progress is being made to expand housing allowances for senior sailors, so they can live off-base. This opens up more barrack space for junior sailors…
