NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk man said a coyote attacked his little terrier recently, but the dog, fortunately, is on the mend.
Gary Senger said it happened around 4 p.m. last Wednesday afternoon, July 8 at his home off of Suburban Parkway near Wards Corner.
He said his dog, Obi-Wan Kanobi, was acting very strange and wouldn’t eat his dinner. That’s when he discovered Obi was bleeding. Senger said he looked out his window and claims he saw a coyote in his backyard.
“The coyote was there,” Senger said. “He left and he came back looking for Obie again to finish what he started. I took him to the vet the next day, and the vet says he was lucky, because most small animals don’t survive coyotes.”…
