NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — An aircraft emergency incident occurred Sunday involving a private aircraft, according to Norfolk International Airport’s Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Chris Jones.
The airfield was briefly closed just before 4 p.m., and the plane landed a minute after four safely. The field was reopened by 4:05 p.m., with no impact on commercial airline activity.
