Suspects with rifle steal Rolex, iPhones from victims after forcing their way into DC home

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A 26-year-old was arrested and accused of a burglary in Washington, D.C.

Back on April 6 around 9:15 p.m., one of the victim’s opened their door after hearing a knock. Three armed suspects with at least one rifle forced their way into the apartment, one suspect assaulting one of the victims before stealing property, according to police. The stolen property included a Rolex and two iPhones, according to police filings.

The suspects fled the scene before the responding officers arrived. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim who was assaulted to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
