WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Homicide detectives are piecing together the details after a man was shot and killed in broad daylight in Southeast D.C. on Friday.
Minutes after 11:30 a.m. on July 10, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1900 block of 16th St. SE, where a man was found unconscious.
Medics tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not yet been released, and the events that led up to the shooting remain under investigation.
