WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are investigating after a shooting in Northwest D.C. left two women injured late Friday night.
Just minutes before 11:15 p.m. Friday, Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3500 block of Warder Street NW. There, officers found two women with gunshot wounds, according to MPD.

EMS crews took both women, who were conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment. Police noted that they are both expected to be OK.
