DC bill aims to crack down on fake, expired license plates
The person behind the account, who wanted to stay anonymous, said that they decided to create the page because they were always seeing cars with fake and expired tags. They said thought it would be a good idea to start documenting everything through the account.
They said this issue contributes to the already rising crime happening in D.C.
The goal for the account owner is to create awareness that will hopefully highlight the issue and maybe get the attention from officials, although they said their expectations are low.

The owner of the account said the reception has been overwhelming in a positive way. They said they are getting flooded with tips, which they believe underlines how this issue is impacting many people across the District.
