WASHINGTON — DC Police say an officer fired at a man in body armor who was pointing a gun at other officers Wednesday in Northwest.
According to police, the man wasn’t shot, and the gunfire prompted him to drop to the ground and give up his weapon in the north alley of the 1000 block of Lamont Street.
The man was taken to a local hospital, and has not yet been identified by police. Officers said he was under the influence of drugs…
