Goodwill has officially set an opening date for its new Rockville location at Montrose Shopping Center.
A banner now displayed on the building confirms the store will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, May 9 at 9am. The location, at 5520 Randolph Road, will include both a retail store and donation center, with signage also noting that donations are already being accepted ahead of opening day.
Back in December, plans were first reported for Goodwill to take over the space previously occupied by Planet Aid. Since then, construction has steadily progressed, with the interior now appearing complete as the store prepares to open its doors to the public…
