WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A woman was taken to the hospital after a vehicle was found in the woods off of Interstate 295 in Washington, D.C., according to officials.
Details about what led up to the crash are limited; however, the crash happened on Sunday night near Exit 2.
According to the DC Fire and EMS Department, units responded to the highway around 11:40 p.m. along with the US Park Police helicopter. There, the vehicle was found in the woods, and one person was trapped inside.
