FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Part of Georgetown Pike in McLean is closed to traffic Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a power pole in the area, according to police.
In a post shared to the X platform just after 7:40 a.m., the Fairfax County Police Department said crews closed down Georgetown Pike between Swinks Mill Road and Georgetown Court to make repairs to the damaged power pole.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, officials noted. At this time, it is unclear what caused the man to crash into the pole.
