WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WPEC) — Early this morning, patchy fog may develop across inland areas, reducing visibility for drivers. Conditions should improve quickly after sunrise.
Later today, isolated showers and thunderstorms could develop, especially along sea breeze boundaries. The best chance for these storms will be near and just inland from the east coast metro areas. Coverage will remain limited, but a few downpours are possible.
Temperatures will stay warm, with highs reaching the mid to upper 80s, and some inland spots possibly touching 90 degrees before clouds increase later in the day.
A cold front approaching from the north will begin to impact the region late tonight into Monday. As it moves through, rain chances will increase, with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms expected through Monday afternoon. Some areas could pick up around an inch of rain, with isolated higher totals possible.
Behind the front, conditions will turn breezier, and marine conditions will deteriorate. Boaters can expect building seas and choppier waters, especially into early next week…
