Palm Beach County eateries lose longtime staples as closures cite rents and redevelopment

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Losing a restaurant you love is never easy, especially when it’s been part of your routine for years.

Several Palm Beach County restaurants closed in March and April, ending runs that stretched from a few years to several decades.

Lantana Pizza, 467 Greynolds Circle, Lantana, closed April 4 after nearly 30 years in business. Owners Dino and Fatime Ismajli said redevelopment in the area forced the shutdown. They are looking for a new location and said the closure is temporary, not permanent…
