WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The search for a missing 77-year-old Butler County man ended Tuesday after human remains were discovered in a wooded area.
Butler County Sheriff Daimon Cundiff said he believes the remains are those of Fred Dieter, of Augusta, who walked away from a location near SW 100th Street and SW Haverhill Road on June 13, 2026.
