Kansas Humane Society names new CEO

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Kansas Humane Society announced a leadership shift, with the chief financial officer for the organization stepping up to be its chief executive officer.

Michelle Lee assumes leadership of the private, nonprofit animal shelter in Wichita after “[playing] a critical role in strengthening the organization’s financial stability, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic planning,” KHS said in a news release on the leadership announcement.
