WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — Dan Clifford, the executive director of Second Light Shelter in downtown Wichita, has been removed from that role, according to the shelter’s board of directors. The board described the departure Monday as a personnel matter.
Clifford last appeared publicly in that role the previous Tuesday at a City Council workshop meeting at City Hall. He and the city council discussed proposed changes to the illegal camping ordinance. No action was taken on the item, and nothing was discussed about Clifford leaving or being removed from his position.
