A former Wichita policeman will no longer be able to work in Kansas law enforcement after he told a female officer he would “never let a woman speak to me like that” while threatening to use a stun gun on her.
Noah Perkins, who worked for the Wichita Police Department from July 2024 to March 2025, had his law enforcement certification revoked last month by the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training after an investigation into a 2025 altercation in which he assaulted a colleague, his order of revocation said. The Wichita Eagle could not find current contact information for Perkins in order to ask him for comment on this story.
Perkins and several other officers went to eat breakfast at a restaurant after their shift on Jan. 13, 2025. When they arrived, Perkins and a female officer got into a verbal dispute, during which Perkins pulled out his Taser, pointed it at the policewoman and began walking toward her, the KSCPOST document said.
