DERBY, Kan. (KWCH) – A popular attraction in Derby is closed until early October following weather-related setbacks and a vandalism incident.
Field Station: Dinosaurs said that starting Monday, the 10-acre outdoor attraction will be closed for six weeks “to carry out comprehensive property maintenance, infrastructure repairs, and extensive site preparations ahead of the grand reopening for the overnight “Cretaceous Camp-Out” on September 25 and the popular “Dinosaurs After Dark” haunted trails event on October 1st, 2026.”
