DUI Crash Ends With Wilmington Man Facing Gun Charges

WILMINGTON, DE — A 73-year-old man faces drunken driving and firearm charges after police alleged he was impaired and carrying a handgun when he was involved in a vehicle collision Friday night.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded at approximately 9:50 p.m. July 17 to the area of 36th and North Market streets for a report of a crash involving injuries.

When officers arrived, they made contact with the driver of the striking vehicle, identified as Gregory Robinson, 73. Police allege Robinson showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody without incident…
