Delaware Whiskey Festival brings premium pours, cocktail contest to Wilmington

Saturday’s tasting event will feature 50 whiskey selections, VIP access and support for scholarships benefiting local students

WILMINGTON — Whiskey enthusiasts will have an opportunity to sample bourbons, ryes, single malts and international selections Saturday as the Delaware Whiskey Festival returns to Wilmington.

The second annual festival will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. July 25 at The Venue, 2409 Lancaster Ave. A limited VIP session begins at 5 p.m., giving ticket holders early access to the event and its specialty pours.

Organizers say the festival will feature 50 curated whiskey expressions, ranging from bold American bourbons and ryes to refined single malts and internationally produced whiskeys.
