NEW CASTLE, Del. — Two Delaware men have been arrested after a stolen vehicle pursuit through New Castle ended in a crash, a foot chase, and the alleged burglary of an occupied home, according to the Delaware State Police.
Authorities identified the suspects as Jakyi Williams, 20, of Wilmington, and Halil Taylor, 19, of New Castle.
The incident began at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 5, when a trooper patrolling East Basin Road near North Dupont Highway checked the registration of an Infiniti QX60 and learned it had recently been reported stolen by the New Castle County Police Department.
