WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Opening statements began Tuesday, May 26, in the trial of Omonte Bell and Dyrell Green, who are accused of murdering two people at the home of a former Tru Colors Brewing executive in 2021.
In the prosecution’s opening statements, they described the morning Koredreese Tyson and Bri-Yanna Williams were killed and said the case will be proven by digital evidence.
The defense for Green focused on how many of the text messages presented by the state as evidence did not mention his name. The defense said there will be no DNA evidence of Green at the house where the shooting allegedly occurred…
